As its name suggests, Free Video Cutter is a free program with which to cut some videos into smaller fragments, a recurring task when editing slideshows, creating animated GIFs, etc.

Free Video Cutter is extremely simple. It's able to work with video formats like AVI, WMV, XviD, DivX, MPEG4, MOV, FLV, and others. Once the video has been loaded, you just have to mark a cut point, and another at the end, and the degree of accuracy you want. Free Video Cutter is responsible for making the cuts automatically, and storing the resulting fragments into one convenient file format: MPEG4, FLV, DivX, MOV, WMV or MP3 (if you want a piece of audio).
